2019 Spring Fling
The 2019 Spring Fling was a big success! Approximately 80 residents attended at Waterview Restaurant and Catering Hall. We all had a good time dancing to the DJ's music, listening to karaoke, talking with our neighbors, laughing together, eating good food and drinking whatever you wanted to drink. Although the weather forecast called for rain, it held off for our Spring Fling. That enabled us to walk outside on the deck which overlooked the Long Island Sound. It was a picturesque view!
We had a half hour of waiter passed Hors d'oeuvres by the Waterview staff. There were pigs in the blanket, potato pancakes, scallops wrapped in bacon and spring rolls to name a few. Dinner choices were beef, chicken francese, salmon or pasta.
Later in the evening we heard one of our newest residents, Toni Scaduto, sing a song that Connie Francis made popular called Stupid Cupid. We think she should try out for The Voice.
It was a pleasant evening that went too fast. We had fun and enjoyed our friendship with our neighbors. Setauket Meadows has it all.
Kudos to the folks who made a good evening great. Ellen Silverman and the entire Social Committee put a lot of work into the evening. Special thanks goes to Josephine Brandine, Janice Cerullo for all their efforts and Alice Polizzi and Pat Dawson for presenting information from four different venues to the Social Committee who made the selection of The Waterview as the venue for our celebration.
As always, pictures are worth a thousand words. Enjoy them. You can click on any picture to make it larger.
